Nicole was there for me and saw me at a time I felt most low in my life. She helped me remove the color from my hair for court for a trial against someone who assaulted me. It was an incredibly difficult experience, as I did not want to change this very important part of my appearance that I had as a part of me for nearly 10 years. She was so patient and kind and understanding with me and the fact that what I was doing was an upsetting experience for me, and she also wanted to help me to feel good about how I looked after.

She did A PHENOMENAL color removal job! My hair was blue for nearly 10 years, and she had it blonde in no time....more

I have been going to Nicole for about 8 years. She is an incredibly talented hair stylist. She cuts, styles and colors hair expertly, better than any stylist I have every had in my life! I had to try Golden Soul Salon after hearing rave reviews from my sister and mom. They both cut and styled their hair with Nicole, and although they have completely different hair types, Nicole managed to make them both look fabulous! I've been wanting to cut my long curly hair into a 90s lob for a while now, and I decided to do it with Nicole. I was nervous bc I didn't know if she could achieve the look I wanted given my hair texture and the amount of hair I have (A LOT!). Nicole listened to everything I wanted and gave me the spitting image of the hair inspo pic I gave her! It takes a skilled stylist to blowout my hair well, and she gave me the shiniest-smoothest-looking blowout that has not frizzed AT ALL and it's been 2 days and the weather has been humid! Anyway, I'm super happy with my hair, and I loved my experience at Golden Soul Salon. Oh and the hair washing experience is SO relaxing! Loved that as well! I went here for a couple of years and would definitely recommend it. The stylists are all cool, genuine, and inclusive, and the space is always clean and inviting. The darker shampoo room is such a nice touch—it actually makes that part of the experience relaxing.
